Kayak to the Pumpkin Fest

“Kayak to the Pumpkin Fest” was commissioned through NOW Art as part of their Community Mural Program. The purpose of the program is to provide murals created by artists to Walmart buildings nationwide during store renovations. Artists are matched with Walmart locations based on the art style requested by the store. Creatives are provided with a list of local highlights to include in the piece. This image was painted small on a panel within approximately two weeks, including time for revisions. Then, a high-resolution image was taken so a large print of the art could be installed on location. This mural is located in Jamestown, TN. It includes the stone arch in Pickett CCC Memorial State Park and the Allardt Pumpkin Festival.
